I had the distinct pleasure to work directly with Dr. Bernice A. King on her debut picture book written along with Dr. Kimberly P. Johnson. This project was so special in that it gave me an opportunity to offer my talents and help continue the great work of MLK and Coretta Scott King through Dr. Bernice A. King and her #BELOVE movement.

The Beloved Community is a place where each person finds what inspires them to make the world a better place. More importantly, it is where everyone has an opportunity to live and grow. We know that we all can contribute to making the world better but we have to know that it starts with each of us taking a stand and finding our voice in the world.
All proceeds from book sales go to the King Center to further the mission of creating a more inclusive, just, humane and equitable world.
