First Lady Dr. Jill Biden chose ME to illustrate the 2024 White House Holiday Tour Book! What a surreal experience. They flew me in for a private tour of the White House in August 2024 and then I illustrated the rooms decked out in holiday splendor, all based on descriptions because they do not actually decorate the rooms until Thanksgiving. I went back in December to attend the reception unveiling the decor and got to meet Dr. Biden in person!! An experience I will be forever grateful for!

On February 22, 2022 I got to see my book on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon! Author, Dr. Bernice A. King (youngest daughter of MLK) was a guest and she brought along the book! Pretty exciting!

...We did a lot of research and interviewed many illustrators and examined their work, but when we spoke with Zoe Ranucci and saw her work, we knew immediately that she was perfect for the assignment.

And not only is Zoe incredibly talented, but she is a most delightful person to work with, always upbeat and patient with me as I go back and forth with my vision for the books. I am so glad to be working with her for each book that I do.
